Q: What is this website?
A: This is Firebro999 Galaxy! This is Firebro999's personal website where I can express myself, tell you more about me, and it's also a place where I can show off my projects/portfolio!
Q: When will this website be finished?
A: I have no idea. It's still in very early stages, so that may not be for a while. Keep coming back though! You'll see new stuff on a regular basis.
Q: What can I do here?
A: At the moment, not much. But tons of things are planned. The main point of the site is to learn about me, though I'll also include my projects here so you can see my art, play my games, and download some of my resources such as my apps and free-to-use assets! Even more things are coming, so once again, stay tuned!
Q: Why is your username "Firebro999"?
A: It definitely sounds like an odd username, haha. You wouldn't be wrong for thinking so!
But there's a standout reasoning: I've had this username for almost a decade and a half, and I've been too lazy to change it!
However, if you wanna know the origin of the name itself: When I was around 10 or so, I'd go on random username generator sites to come up with username ideas because I wasn't really creative. I got "ExciteBro" once, it was weird so I ditched it, but I liked the "Bro" part, so I kept it!
Then comes the "Fire" part. Despite my hatred of hot weather, I always found the element of fire interesting. In video games, anytime fire was an available powerup or action, it would always be one of my favorite components. (Loved using the Fire Flower in Mario games, always picked Fire type Starter Pokemon, etc.) And I combined the two parts to create "Firebro"!
Lastly, the "999". It literally means nothing. Putting numbers in usernames was cool back then. It ain't cool anymore, and I think it looks goofy. It only remains because not only am I too lazy to change it, I kinda have to keep it for branding purposes. "Firebro" on its own would probably already be a taken username on websites, the 999 helps differentiate.
And there you have it, Firebro999! A lot of people think it's based on the Mario enemy which makes sense, but that's just a coincidence. A lot of people get confused as to why my profile pic is usually Red Yoshi instead of Fire Bro, haha. Sometimes I'll swap my icon to him just for fun.
